I like how we turn in the assignments on-line.Its cool that way we don't waste paper. Lots of other classes ask for print outs and the amount of print outs at the labs is now limited. It used to be where we could print out 100 pages in one lab but when we would go to another lab we could print out another 100 but know we have a certain amount of print outs for all the labs to share. so that's cool. Bad_PointsWhat I don't like about the class is that there are alot of mistakes on the slides. Were slides are repeated and we waste paper printing them. Also some of the online review questions that are on-line have the wrong answers as the correct one. When it comes to the test we study the wrong answer and therefore get it wrong. WebisteCommentsMaybe a little more time spent modifying the website and make corrections so that all the material is current and correct. I hate printing then having to print again because we got the wrong stuff or because things were missing and corrections were made. More organization on the web. If I have not physically seen the components of a computer, it is very difficult to me to learn the concept. What would make this course easier and interesting is to have some open computers in the class and see the component that we are talking about. Possbibly; you can assign a computer to a group of five students, so that way we can see the components and learn its function simultaneouly. I study form the online questions, so it was more difficult to learn, and memorize all the slides; even worst, the exam day I couldn't remember what I had studied. I like the course format, the due dates are very specific,all the submission forms are well designed. The slides give you a much better picture of what is important and significant of the material. I also like the fact that you give us those practice questions and that the exams are based on those. For me it is a good possibility to find out what part of the chapters I did understand and what parts I still need to work on. Otherwise, I do really like your style of teaching. It is a very relaxed atmosphere with the possibility to work on our own pace. Bad_PointsI think that the practice questions are too many per chapter. They could be reduced since some of the questions are just repetition of themselves. Moreover, there are mistakes (at least one) with the answers of those questions per chapter. If you compare those answers to the information on the slides, than you will see that the slides tell you something different. And of course, you were right when you said in the beginning of this course that the material we are going to cover is not very interesting! Other courses require too much study and then most questions that you study are not on the test. In this course it is easier to learn what it is you need to learn. I do enjoy this class. Sometimes it is difficult to get to a computer by Friday or Thursday in order to submit your work. When you work and go to school it is difficult to manage your time.
